Becky Cherkasky works with adults and teenagers (15+) in individual, family, and group therapy. She has experience with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, behavioral and emotional dysregulation, life transitions, stress, mood management, parenting skills, self-exploration and self-empowerment, bullying, relationship issues, and clients facing alternative lifestyle issues. She has extensive expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and specializes in treatment for symptoms related to Borderline Personality Disorder in both adults and teens in individual and group therapy settings.
Becky facilitates a DBT therapy group for teens (OMG! Is This My Life?), co-facilitates a DBT therapy group for adult women (Fearless Living), and a DBT workshop for parents (Parenting Skills Workshop).
Ms. Cherkasky received her undergraduate degree (BA Sociology) and certificate (Jewish Studies) from University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduate degree (MS Marriage and Family Therapy) from Edgewood College.
