Licensed Professional Counselor
Kathryn O'Connell, LPC works with adults in individual therapy. She takes a humanistic approach in applying evidence based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, while guiding clients toward achieving their identified goals. Her areas of clinical interest include anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mindfulness, emotion regulation, life transitions, relationships, giftedness, academic distress, multicultural counseling, LGBTQ support, and positive psychology.
Ms. O'Connell received her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her master's degree from the University of St. Thomas. She is trained in counseling psychology, and has been a licensed mental health provider since 2007.
