Dr. Woods sees adolescents (15+) adult individuals, and couples. She specializes in bringing empirically validated treatments to a wide spectrum of psychological disorders, and has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Of particular interest are health and wellness issues, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessions and compulsions, grief, and stress. She also treats people diagnosed with self-harm behavior or eating disorders. Dr. Woods has a long professional history working with people coping with life-limiting diseases and behavioral interventions designed to reduce the side effects of medical treatment.

Dr. Woods received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona. Her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and her PhD in Clinical Psychology (behavioral medicine emphasis) were received from the University of Miami. She completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
