Sandra (she, her, hers) provides individual therapy for adults (19+). She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Level II. Her areas of experience include working with individuals with anxiety, depression, other mood issues, PTSD, complex PTSD, and trauma. She has experience with LGBTQ+ clients. Sandra can assist people working on life transitions, identity, self-discovery, and personal exploration. She has experience guiding clients through grief. Sandra also helps with ambivalence around both wanting to and struggling to change.

Sandra uses a collaborative, strength-based approach to personal change and growth. She wants to work with people on their whole self, which encompasses mental, physical, social, and spiritual health. She encourages clients to pause, take a step back, and look at both what is and is not working in life. Sandra will teach skills to help you learn how to respond thoughtfully instead of automatically reacting to difficult people and situations. She teaches tools and skills to change old, unhelpful automatic responses, examine current coping skills, and encourage and build on what is already working. Tools come from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches.

Sandra strives to provide a safe environment where a client can work to build the life they want. A strong therapeutic relationship and an outside perspective helps clients achieve their life’s goals.

Learn how to respond thoughtfully instead of automatically reacting to difficulties.
