Sheena Wiedenfeld is a Licensed Professional Counselor - In Training (LPC-IT) who offers individual therapy to children (8+), adolescents, adults, and first responders struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or life transitions. Sheena uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches in her therapy practice. Her focus is a client-centered guided approach to identifying negative cognitions, dysfunctional assumptions, and disruptive behaviors that are counterproductive for the clients’ goals and wellness. Sheena has received additional training in working with first responders and the high stress nature of those occupations, with emphasis on the impact these occupations can have on the individual’s wellness. Her goal is to promote wellness and resiliency in first responders so they can have long and rewarding careers.

Education

Sheena Wiedenfeld received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She is certified in first responder counseling from the National Emergency Responder and Public Safety Center (NERPC).
