Stephanie is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has specialized training in couple and family therapy. She also provides individual therapy for children (12+), teens, and adults of all ages.

One of Stephanie's main areas of interest is supporting clients in the LGBTQIA+ community, including assistance through the transition process with support letters for gender affirming care and surgery. In addition, Stephanie has spent most of her career assisting individuals and families who have experienced sudden changes and/or trauma in their lives. She has assisted many couples and families in the process of building emotional connections, acceptance, and a sense of collaboration, while helping each family member ask for what they need in a healthy way.

Stephanie also has experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, grief and healing trauma. She frequently uses family systems models, as well as Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Stephanie has written and facilitated 12 week group therapy for anger management in adults and self-worth in teen girls.

Education

Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.
